servo motor control used commonly in the automotive robotics and other
robotics production areas is a great example of this.

stopping involved. Control
transformers specialize in handling exact voltages in the secondary
despite fluctuations in the primary, and they also allow automatic response
to voltage drops incurred during normal starting sequences. This must be
handled especially when solenoids and other electromagnetic devices are used
along with Motor Controls and motors. Too much a fluctuation can
interfere with the proper response of those devices. (They may not kick in
at all, be delayed, or quit functioning at inopportune moments where voltage
levels preclude proper operation.)
